• Behavioral consultation with school teams and assist in programming for general education and more intensive small class settings • Support staff in conducting functional behavior assessments, and developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans • Staff training in working with students with Autism and other social-emotional disabilities • Provide expertise to all faculty in behavior management, including assessment and planning of behavior management strategies as well as consultation and training regarding intervention strategies • Participation in CSE meetings to report on student needs and progress toward goals
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification • Experience in working with NYSAA students • Strong knowledge of behavior principles, including FBA/BIP, PBIS, and trauma-informed practices • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong ability to collaborate with various professionals and families • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail • High integrity, empathetic and considerate
