Job Description

Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, 6 hours/day
Effective: 2025 – 2026 School Year
Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment
Duties: Provide instructional support to students in individual, small group and full class settings. Assist librarian and catalog books. Involves physical tasks, e.g. restocking bookshelves, standing, carrying books, crouching, etc.
Rate: New applicants: $25.56/hr
Current employees: In accordance with existing salary schedule

Job Qualifications

Requirement: Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred. Must be comfortable with technology-based tasks. Knowledge of Follet Destiny and current children's literature recommended.
