Job Description
Position:                     Part-time Typist Clerk                                      

Location:                     Office of Instruction

Hours:                         17.25 hrs/wk; M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (exact schedule to be determined)

Effective:                    Immediately

Salary:                         In accordance with existing salary schedule      

                                                             

Responsibilities include:

  • Handle BOCES funded student activities, events, speakers, and trips; and district-coordinated field/overnight trips

•   Manage textbook room for non-public school students, including ordering, distribution, collection, and inventory, and communication with non-public schools

•   Coordinate activities related to selection committees for elementary/secondary education vacancies

•   Create memos, reports, forms, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, etc.

•   Assist with grants, budgets, purchase orders, etc.

•   Communicate with district staff, parents, community members, and vendors

•   Maintain office calendar

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years of clerical experience, including typing (minimum 40 wpm)
