Job Description

Position: Part-time Teaching Assistant – Math Center

Location: South Middle School

Hours: M-W-Th, 8:33 am – 12:01 pm, 3.53 hours/day and T-F, 8:46 am – 12:06 pm, 3.33 hours/day

Effective: Immediately – End of School Year
Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment

Duties: Support students in developing study skills and problem-solving strategies, while reviewing and reinforcing concepts taught in their math classes.

Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. NYS Math certification is recommended. Minimum of 60 college credits is highly preferred.

Salary: New applicants: $26.07/hr
Current employees: In accordance with Paraprofessional Association agreement
