Hours: M – F, 7:30 am – 3:00 am, 7.5 hours/day Effective: Immediately – End of School Year Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment Duties: • Troubleshoot classroom technology issues, including SmartBoard connectivity, desktop audio, speaker systems, and phone display connections. • Maintain and support use of makerspace equipment, including 3D printers, Cricut machines, sublimation and embroidery printers, and poster printing tools. • Assist with setup and operation of audio and visual equipment for daytime auditorium events and assemblies. Qualifications: • Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot common classroom technology issues. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Collaborate as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff and students. Interest in learning and support new tools and technologies in an educational setting. Rate: New applicants: $25.56/hr Current employees: In accordance with paraprofessional agreement
Requirements: Applicant MUST be NYS Teacher or Teaching Assistant certified. Experience with sound equipment, video editing, or makerspace tools is preferred but not required. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred.
