Job Description

Position: Special Education Teacher Aide
Location: E.M. Baker Elementary School
Hours: M – F, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, 6 hours/day
Effective: Immediately – End of School Year
Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment
Duties: Support teachers and assist students in the classroom and throughout the building. Work with an educational team and follow behavioral intervention plans.
Rate: New applicants: $19.50/hr
Current employees: In accordance with paraprofessional agreement

Job Qualifications

NYSED fingerprint clearance and must possess a high school diploma. ABA experience and experience, skill, and comfort working with
students with behavioral challenges is highly preferred.
