Job Description

2026-27 School Year 

Hours: M-F, 7:30 am - 12:30 pm, 5 hours/day

            Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment

Duties:

• Work closely with and assist Director of Educational Television
• Assist with supervision of student productions, including occasional evening productions (extra compensation)
• Assist with film and TV media classes
• Assist with live daily morning news broadcast
• Troubleshoot TV studio issues
• Film and edit material for GNPS/TV district channels and website                            

Job Qualifications

Requirements: 

• Applicant MUST be NYS Teacher or Teaching Assistant Certified
• Minimum of 60 college credits highly preferred
• Field and studio video production experience required
• Proficiency with the following software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Photoshop
• TV news experience is a plus
