Anticipated Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistants
District Wide, Grades K-12
Expected hours are between:
Elementary School: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Middle School: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
High School: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
Effective: 2026 – 2027 School Year Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment
Duties: Support teachers and assist special education students. Provide intervention services directly to individual students and in small group settings.
Requirement: Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is highly preferred. ABA experience and experience working with students with autism is highly preferred.
Rate: New applicants: $27.07/hr Current employees: In accordance with paraprofessionals association agreement
