Description: Supervise students riding the school bus on an “as needed basis” in accordance with the established rules for conduct and safety. Load and unload students on bus; maintain safety order on bus; attend to students with special needs; ensure all students are seated while the bus is in motion; report any unusual, improper, irregular, or unsafe situations; assist with bus cleanliness, sanitation when needed; handle other related duties, as needed.

Position:                  Part-Time/Substitute Contract School Security Staff with Arrow Security

Location:                 District Wide

Effective:                 Immediately 

Hours:                     4- & 8-hour day/evening shifts; 7 days/week

Duties:                Oversee general safety and welfare of school buildings and occupants; manage security CCTV system and building access; conduct periphery checks of building and entrances/exits. Involves high levels of interaction with school personnel and community members. 

Requirements:   

- 10+ years of law enforcement experience (retired law enforcement preferred) 

-NYS Security Guard License

-Good interpersonal/communications skills

Rate:                        $30.00/hour
